Parents Page May 2nd - final Preschool Playgroup at Kipps Elementary from 1:30 to 3:00. For up and coming kindergarten students to meet new friends and the kindergarten teachers. May 8 - May 18, and May 24th & 25th - Kindergarten Visitation at Kipps Elementary. Your child is encouraged to visit a kindergarten classroom before he/she will start kindergarten in the fall. Your child is invited to visit the kindergarten classrooms during Center Time from 11:30-1:00. Students can see what our Center Time is like in kindergarten. We have a writing center, media table, computers, listening center, role play, math center, reading center, and many more to enjoy! This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to interact with current kindergarten students and experience part of a real school day. You can sign your child up for Kindergarten Visitation at the May 2nd Preschool Playgroup or call the office at 951-5760. Kipps Elementary Community Yard Sale This will be the third year our “Kipps Relay Roos” team has a community yard sale. Last year we raised about $1,380 in donations for the American Cancer Society. This year we hope to have another successful yard sale. The community yard sale will be in the Kipps School cafeteria on Saturday, April 22nd from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. In addition to the yard sale there will be a community car wash. The “Pan Players,” another Relay For Life team, will wash your car and entertain you with steel music while you wait. All donations from the yard sale and car wash will go to the American Cancer Society. So, plan on coming out to shop, get your car cleaned, and have a good time for a good cause! |
